The decor, resplen dant with ancient Roman statues transformed the East Ninth Street night club into a Roman villa. The impromptu dramatization of "The

Action Magazine

It has come to our attention that a

certain magazine published in Cleveland has made slanderous remarks about our club, the Stallions, Inc. These remarks are quite uncalled for and childish.

Our club is respected not only in Cleveland, but throughout the entire United States and Europe. We feel that we should set the story straight so that there is no question about our Charity "Slave" Auc+ion proceeds.

Enclosed you will find a copy of our thank-you letter signed by Betty Cope, President and General Manager of WVIZ Channel 25, in regard to the $1,000 collected from our auction.

We realize that most Clevelanders respect the Stallions, but there are a few who will believe anything that is written for a magazine. Though the people responsible say that it is all tongue-and-cheek remarks, we find these remarks Insulting.

If you could print this letter and the copy letter from WVIZ in your magazine, we feel that this would stop the gossip. Your magazine is highly respected in the community as a fine publication with good, clean humor. Thank you for serving the gay community with pride, care,

and love.
